I wanted to know if runway first frame was multiplayer.
It is.😁

Runway First Frame and Act One.
(Structure Transformation 7)

Honestly, Runway first frame has more range than I initially thought. I will say they could really use a green screen button to replace the backgrounds though.

I’m curious why companies like runway & pika aren’t using video to drive something like open pose? It seems obvious to want control of characters not shaped like your input.

Let us drive big exosuits, stubby little monsters, big horn monsters, or skeletal robots!

Eventually I want to be able to control the motion of stable Ai assets across the entire frame. Here is a quick attempting to control the entire frame with only Pika additions and Pika swaps. It’s not perfect or easy at all but a very promising direction.

Just more playing with ideas in Pika Additions.

Another pika additions test.
Sometimes I get home and really regret the things I said I was going to do in the video.
This is one of those cases. 😅 my

It is fun but it’s hard to not dream of the more capable and intuitive future systems with much deeper control. I can’t wait.

I grew up editing action movies with two vhs players & having to warn police we were filming with painted toy guns. My first VFX was frame by frame in photoshop from minidv.

Kids growing up with advanced versions of this tech are going to do absolutely incredible things.

Honestly I thought filming in the rain was going to be a little more dramatic, but it wasn’t raining that hard. Oh well, still fun.

This is more playing with Pika Additions as you can probably guess.

I’m so used to low light being a problem for film tech, I was very surprised pika additions didn’t seem to have a problem at all.
Horror creators will have a field day.

Just a little zombie experiment. I also tested mixing Viggle and Pika Additions on one shot and it worked pretty well.

Doing the monsters made me want to test some big environmental stuff with Pika Additions.
February 11, 2025 at 3:43 AM
I’m having a lot of fun getting to know the capabilities of pika additions. More to come.

Playing around with an imaginary Ai tactical Amazonian security guard… who likes to read during her lunch.
This is really just more exploring Pika Additions capabilities.

More experiments with Pika labs “additions”

I didn’t have many credits but I thought I’d do a quick little test to try out Kling AI’s elements. It’s interesting but you do burn a lot of credits on misunderstanding. Really curious to see some of these “elements” systems add video to video.

I did a little playing with the new pika release. I tried a few photos of me and it has some trouble replicating me but the concept is very cool. It’s definitely going to be fun to explore when they add a video to video option.

First video to video test with Sora. It’s neat but the jump from remix strength 5 to remix strength 6 seems really dramatic right at what seems like the most important range.

Relighting Viggle v3 by just using Magnific relight. It’s not a dynamic solution but it is an improvement.
December 7, 2024 at 11:41 PM
So my summary of testing Viggle v3 characters is the further you get from a bald person with a face wearing simple pants and shirt the more likely you are to run into problems.
December 7, 2024 at 10:16 PM
Viggle v3 is quite a jump from v2. 👀

Runway Act One Stress test: impressive but a little uncanny.
