The number of jobs gained in Canada last month is slightly more than the number of jobs lost last month in the US. Which is an incredible statistic when you consider we have roughly 1/8th the population and 1/15th the GDP.

Canada is winning.

Cohen gave us some truly valuable tools for understanding and processing our current moment. In particular, his prose "Moving into a Period" really resonates:

I swear by these Tick Tubes that they carry at Canadian Tire. Basically little cardboard tubes filled with treated cotton, so when critters like mice use it to line their nests, it kills the ticks that feed on them. I put them out twice a year and barely ever see ticks, can't recommend them enough.

So wait, are they silly white hippies? Or violent antifa hordes.

Almost as if by a continual shifting of rhetorical focus, the enemies of Fascism are at the same time too strong, and too weak.

A friend and I made this comic about transphobia, and how fundamentally silly it is.

All the world's a stage, but there's no script or director. We all deserve the right to decide our own roles.

Never let any Trump voter try and pretend that they didn't choose this disgusting fasicist nightmare with their eyes wide open.

Gotta hang onto those. I still have my grandfather's anti-fascist tote bag from WW2.
