This chart knocked my socks off....China has had a budget DEFICIT each year since 2013.
That fact plus their push for missile manufacturing worries the pants off me.

I took my kids to a place in Donegal to learn Irish for a couple of weeks. Stopped at Leo's Tavern for food, not knowing its history. The band Clannad started there. Sisters Moya and Enya, Leo's kids were part of it.

The last time tariffs had a big impact on the economy...Hoover's administration put them into effect. Made the great depression worse.

That 100 ft pillar in the trees (Rostrevor)above the small blue boat is the Gen Ross monument, honoring a locally born hero. He is the one responsible for naming the White House, as he was in charge in 1814 of burning Washington. They had to white wash the President's Mansion, covering burn marks.
