drives me nuts when ppl say food is “unseasoned” because it doesn’t have any spices. yeah poor white people food doesn’t have spices because poor white people historically couldn’t afford spices! they used fresh ingredients like herbs & alliums to add flavor! “garlic eater” is a slur for a reason.

my kid is 3 and a half and refuses to give up the sleep sack. which is a bit annoying now that we’re potty training since she can get it off by herself but can’t get it back on.

I grew up in a turkey family, but my wife converted me to roast. I did Wellington last year, but imo the payoff isn't worth the effort. going back to prime rib this year and concentrating my energy on better sides.
