it is absolutely ridiculous that it took about two weeks for me to see any coverage on elisa rae shupe's suicide. she was the first to be federally non-binary in the united states and i didn't hear shit about it. rest in power.

while i'm on this cultural appropriation tangent i may as well point out fellow queer people are also a problem. pls i get black ppl are often seen as androgynous since that gender binary of yours was founded exclusively yt but you need to take that durag or bonnet of your head rn.
as a black person it pisses me off when fellow westerners treat east asians like they are "innocent," can't understand cultural appropriation. there is intention when idols put braids in their hair. there's intention when a gyaru gets long ass nails and fakes a blaccent. hold them accountable pls
