Remember Black Friday 2022? Amazon #STL8 workers went on a historic strike to demand safer work, higher pay, and more! By coming together, workers won *five* OSHA citations and FORCED management to address their safety violations 💪

Alice was well-known for her advocacy here in Missouri and across the globe. She not only fought to advance her own voice on the job, but she also showed solidarity with other workers throughout the city fighting for higher pay and a union.

We mourn and celebrate the life of Alice Kitchen, who passed away last Friday, Nov. 14, surrounded by her family. Alice was a longtime member of #StandUpKC and one of the first adjunct faculty members to join the Faculty Forward organizing committee in 2015.
