A clear heart shaped container has been made into an enclosure for a tarantula spiderling. There is dirt, moss, a fake plant, and on a small piece of cork bark is the little lady herself! A closer view of the tarantula spiderling. Her cephalothorax is brown, while her abdomen and legs are grey. At each of her leg joints has a little white stripe around it.

i also found these two cuties at work tonight! i'm not totally sure what the first is yet, but the second seems to be an american nursery web spider (pisaurina mira). a few new ones to mark in my identification book! 😊 #spider
A spider that is generally a nice warm brown with subtle patterning. The abdomen is more of a darker, different brown. It is a mature male, as shown by his pedipalps bulbs. A spider that is mostly a light tan color, but has a thick dark stripe going all the way down the cephalothorax and abdomen. This dark stripe is outlined in thin, almost white lines.

i found a potential wolf spiderling at work, which hasn't happened since the temp dropped! they're too tiny and dark for both me and my phone to get a great look at the details. they do look like a trochosa, which are real common here, but they'd be the darkest one i've ever seen! 🧐 #spider
A very tiny, nearly black spider. If you look very closely, there is a thick stripe down the center of the cephalothorax that continues a bit down the abdomen. There is also subtle spots on the abdomen.
