I was mostly joking there. I get that Antiva is a mash-up of medieval Italy and Spain. As such it's impossible to categorically say whether Lucanis is "Spanish" or "Italian."

Oh it’s both, and it’s a pretty good mix imo! I like your perspective on regional differences. Honestly most of Thedas is at least a little bit Italian (or Roman really) bc Tevinter is the big Roman Empire analogue (and the Venatori speak ‘Latin’)

The thing that bothers me about applying the "apostate hobo" label to Solas is that his clothing is actually clean, well-constructed, and made from quality materials.
He's a 10,000-year-old almost-god. The fur trim, folksy stitching, and jawbone necklace are like $100 pre-distressed jeans.

Thirty years later and the only things I remember clearly are a joke about cockroach dicks and finding the ending twist with the villain to be mean and stupid (to the villain).
I *hated* this character but that's more of a sense-memory.
