In 2021 I started advocating for a friend whose daughter was murdered & grandson taken away in NorCal. This was my intro into MMIW and separation of indigenous children.

It won’t “fix” everything overnight, but it’s a damn good place to start. The scales must be balanced. Accountability must be taken. The TRUTH of our founding must be told. Conversations to create understanding and building empathy between HUMANS must take place.
