Although I should probably state that a more story-oriented comic might benefit from longer, less frequent updates. I'd suggest following your gut and doing what you feel best suits the narrative and pacing.

I generally prefer weekly updates, because I am comically forgetful and will lose track of things if I don't get regular reminders that they exist.
