As Trump targets Afghans who assisted our troops, I am remembering the surgeon who saved my son after being shot years ago. With a severed brachial artery, we were lucky to get a surgeon who had returned from Afghanistan. Without Afghans' help this surgeon may not be alive today, nor my son.
