I do think Addict is still Canon since it's been established that Val still has shit eye sight. Said by Angel in season 1, referring to addict, and again reaffirmed by Husker in season 2. That said, even what we saw in Poison, we saw it as Angel enjoying the moment. Even holding onto Val during.
