So, have you decided at which point in the next 4 years you'll be telling us to vote tactically for Labour to keep Reform out?

So, when we get to 2029, after this Labour sh!t show, who will you be telling us to tactically vote for to keep Nigel out?

Can we stop calling GB News, GB News? They are categorically NOT a News channel. It's a rightwing propaganda channel.

Wrong yet again! With solar you need to decentralise the grid and generate/store locally. Just imagine the possibilities for locally owned CO-OPs. There's nothing stopping us from doing that right now, I'm currently doing it with heat in several northern towns.

Yes, and wrongly, don't believe the propaganda, see Franks post above

Well, I'm a Green Party member that advises industry/Gov on renewable energy infrastructure. Literally my job
July 1, 2025 at 11:28 AM
Well then, you're getting it wrong. You need to understand grid load balancing and bell curves. Solar is pointless in the UK if we can't store excess energy. Anyway I thought we were done, didn't you just call me a moron and tell me to F**K OFF?
July 1, 2025 at 11:24 AM
Fook I'm old. How/where did that happen?
July 1, 2025 at 11:05 AM
Where am I arguing against solar farms? But yes, end of conversation, I'm wasting my time here, you clearly don't understand how they work
July 1, 2025 at 10:23 AM
Don't think there was any need for that, maybe educate yourself on grid load balancing and why we are paying wind farms to be switched off and then come back to me
July 1, 2025 at 10:09 AM
Solar is actually fairly pointless in the UK without energy storage (either battery or thermal). Look up the supply and demand duck curve. We need to think much more holistically on the route to net zero.
July 1, 2025 at 10:00 AM
We have enough car parks to power the country. But more importantly, the car parks are generally very close to where we use the power, unlike the majority of farmland. If we add batteries and/or thermal storage, we could decentralise the grid.
July 1, 2025 at 8:58 AM
Imagine being the first net zero and net exporter supermarket
July 1, 2025 at 8:23 AM
Totally disagree. We could power the country on car parks and roof space alone if we incorporate local energy storage. We don't need to use farm land and natural habitats. We need to generate the power where we use it and reduce the size of the grid if we're ever going to get any where near net zero
June 30, 2025 at 12:14 PM
No he is not, and it's nothing to do with NIMBYisum either. There are much better places to install solar than farm land and natural habitats. For a start we have tens of thousands of car parks.
June 30, 2025 at 11:46 AM
That's literally how we got here!
May 16, 2025 at 10:53 AM
We need to do the same with energy. What we should be asking is who is using/paying for our waste heat? #sectorcoupling #heatnetworks

Hey Tan, try this, it certainly helped me with my ADHD injustice sensitivity www.tiktok.com/@openbookshe...
Optimistic nihilism is my new favourite philosophy... If we've learned nothing else from the last year, it's that hope is powerful, whether the powerful want it to be or not. #creatorsearchinsights
