Very old original drawing for context; I think it’s safe to say I’ve improved a little bit. Notice how I’ve gotten better at more dramatically hiding the feet off-canvas so I don’t have to draw them

I think I’m finally done with this guy! This started as an attempt to redraw a guy I first drew like 8 years ago and ended up being a fun way to learn/practice lighting. I might also have just wanted to make a spooky skeleton man for PFP purposes 😂 #art

Somehow it’s been more than 4 years since I painted this as a nice little thing to put up on my wall, and I still haven’t gotten around to framing it. David Lynch had a big hand in the kind of weird, inexplicable stuff a lot of us find cool and I think the world was a better place for it. #art

Dressed up for a Christmas party this weekend and discovered that if you put a vest on over a turtleneck, you’re instantly transported into a 70’s action movie (and also that our mirror is dirty, please ignore 😂)

I don’t usually put a lot of my own emotions into art but with how gnarly the last couple of months have been I’m trying to use it as an outlet. In a lot of ways I kind of feel like both of the guys in this sketch 😂

Because the universe has the shittiest timing, my grandfather died on November 5 and I’ve been fucked up about it (among other things) since. I painted this for him as a gift a while back and at the time I wasn’t happy with it; now that it’s back with me I’m glad I had a chance to give it to him.

I was gonna do something for Inktober this year and try to get back into regularly posting stuff now that Bluesky is proving to be a fairly chill place, but then life events kept happening so instead have this sketch and very incomplete render of a creepy monster lady 😂 #art #horror

I want to get back into making art more often so I’m making things I’ll actually use; in this case I’ve been playing a lot of Commander lately so I figured I’d make my own tokens. This one’s a “wurm” token for Baru, Wurmspeaker, which is surprisingly fun to play! #mtg #art

A bit late to the party but I wanted to make something as a tribute to the late, great Akira Toriyama. Dragon Quest and Dragon Ball were both pretty huge parts of my childhood and I like to think they’ve had a positive impact on who I am as a person (as goofy as that might sound).

I’m gonna be traveling for the rest of October so this isn’t going to be finished during #inktober ; Still pleased with this relative to my older stuff with markers, it’s nice how getting better with different media can feed back into stuff you haven’t used in a while.
