Last night I dreamt of the economy and toilets. I'm sure it didn't mean anything.

Just remembered that at the NFL in London the other week they played about 4 seconds of Voodoo Ray into the stadium before it got interrupted by something else.

Feel like it was the one tune that the whoever was responsible for the music slipped in of their own accord. Fair play.

I think what's impressive about TRON is that, visually, it's still so much more interesting than any of it's sequels. It's crazy that they tried update this digital world by making it as 'realistically rendered' as possible. It's a complete misunderstanding of the original's charm.

Good morning, please enjoy this lovely badger who is a current regular on my camera trap. Female, I believe. Enjoying the cherry plums that drop from the branches I can't reach.

The thing about this is, is this is how born-rich people *already* do it - whether it's making art, or starting a business, or whatever they successfully do. They already know it works.
Damn. This is amazing. £325 per week, paid monthly, for 3 years - and the result was a profit for the Irish economy:

I finally sprung for Parawave's Rapid. Seemingly neglected but one of the best sounding sofftware synths I've heard. Always interesting and rich, it has that magic property of constant pleasant surprises.

Quite a few of the more popular synths favoured by sound designers sound kinda boring to me 🤷

Wholeheartedly agree with this review; When There are Wolves Again is a fabulous book; and if you're in Bristol I'll be interviewing @catamaroon.bsky.social about it on October 14th at Stanfords!

I'd love to work on a remaster like Deus Ex and just go incredibly hard on the existing aesthetic. Push further into 'that'.

Not an update. Not even a remaster. Just a fever-dream alternative.

Intelligence appears to be a property of a system. And that system need does not have a central node that coordinates all other nodes.

Yet AI, as it manifests in the US context, is all about centralised networks.

Massive consolidation of entertainment conglomerates has an unexpected downside for them: when one of their subsidiaries capitulates to fascism, it threatens their entire portfolio.

ABC, Disney, Star Wars, theme parks, cruises, Hulu, Marvel, Pixar, ESPN, etc. are all now fair boycott targets.
