I just felt the effects of the purging of the civil service firsthand-- I called the IRS for some very basic non-tax related info and waited on the phone for two hours. This is something that would have taken 10-15 minutes prior to all of this bullshit.

I made a last minute decision to make a cheesecake instead of sweet potato pie for Thanksgiving b/c it sounded so good, only to be reminded that it’s not my favorite thing. I made & froze the filling & pastry for SPP. Gave away the cheesecake & making my own personal SPP this week!

The other day I heard some Black children talking abt someone being a hater because they didn’t like something. Aghast, I realized the co-opting by white folks of Black language, mannerisms, etc (w/o understanding meaning in the 1st place) has affected younger folks grasp of their own language. 😒

I've been trying to call state admin offices for a week & have given up each time. Yesterday I was on hold for two hours & got no call back. I'm going to have to bite the bullet & go in to the office.😩 I have to ask the most basic question of all time about uploading a document.
