Maybe so but these are close family relations I know well and don’t think would feel the need to make up a reason. I know one of them didn’t vote Trump either. Personally I take it as a sincere concern even if I believe it’s somewhat unfounded

Like in my world it made a fair amount of sense and didn’t feel that concerning or anti-democratic but I guess I can kinda understand how someone would be bothered by it. Maybe it’s just an example of how media diets color perception
