Worker Council members shared their experiences and why the #FashionWorkersAct is meaningful to them.

“Laws are only effective when they are enforced,” explained Ziff. “That’s why we aim to run a Know Your Rights campaign to ensure those who work in New York’s modeling industry understand their newfound rights and feel empowered to exercise them once the law takes effect in June.”

Our host Steph Stephenson, co-chair of the Cordes Foundation, kicked off the celebration by sharing our unified vision of a more equitable and sustainable fashion industry.

Hosted by the Cordes Foundation and models Kenza Fourati, Liris Crosse, and Madhulika Sharma, the intimate event was a special opportunity to recognize our progress, hear reflections from worker leaders, and raise funds for the work ahead.
