Single axel! It’s such a shock from Kaori, but this program is so good (and painful!) from her #GPF #GPFigure

That’s a way to recover after a mistake in the short program! #GPF #GPFigure

Yuma is compelling to watch, but I think that current Yuma’s tech content is basically limited to the content of the 2014-2018 quad and he’s set as Ilia’s main rival explains a lot about Ilia and the current field. Ilia is scored differently in the deeper 2018-2022 field #GPF #GPFigure

3 was only given a limited release. Netflix was even more explicit about not wanting theaters to have a cut

Shun’s FS going after Ilia’s only emphasizes the difference in actual maturity here. Ilia has admirable jumps, but his PCS is too high and this isn’t a Nate situation where he is showing committed artistic growth. Shun has moments in his program where the music is allowed to breathe #GPF #GPFigure

So, the program is still college freshman in terms of depth, but if we‘re doing this anyway, 7 quads helps. If we’re going jump drill, let’s commit to it #GPF #GPFigure

What if he medals at the Olympics …. #GPF #GPFigure
December 7, 2025 at 3:47 AM
Adam has the potential to be a contender at the Olympics. It depends on how he handles the jumps #GPF #GPFigure
December 7, 2025 at 3:45 AM
Misha just seemed exhaust by the last third of the program. He just needs a mental reset before the Olympics #GPF #GPFigure

This is the best performance of Bock’s FD so far. I’m still worried about the skirt being a trap, but as long as Madi can make it work, it will be very cool at the Olympics #GPF #GPFigure

They should have been dinged for traveling on their Dance Spin. Their lifts are so weak compared to the field. And that fall was horrendous ... The judges could have bailed them out more if they wanted to do so. This is reheated P/C without any of their connection #GPF #GPFigure

Piper and Paul were robbed. They should be at least third #GPF #GPFigure

I actually really like the Scottish FD. I‘m stuck on the fact that she beat him on levels for the twizzles and the midline step. Props to her, but that’s leaving points on the table #GPF #GPFigure
December 7, 2025 at 2:23 AM
Like, unless they’re not using Golden Spin as a score boosting event this year…
December 7, 2025 at 2:16 AM
Also, I’m looking at the Golden Spin numbers, and, uh, I‘m worried about a G/F Euros bronze against a rising Saulison …
December 7, 2025 at 2:13 AM
Speaking of GPF debut, everyone wanted to go to the club with Saulison, which makes sense because they were great #GPF #GPFigure
December 7, 2025 at 2:10 AM
Emilea and Vadym did so well for their GPF debut #GPF #GPFigure

Netflix benefits in a post-box office world, where everything goes directly to streaming, and Netflix, as the biggest player in town, will be able to cull the demands of creatives. They won’t have to share the pie with theaters at all
December 7, 2025 at 1:26 AM
Theaters wanted K-Pop Demon Hunters a longer release because there was demand. Netflix left money on the table.

Netflix is playing the long game. Killing off the major theater chains means a few indie theaters last, but they won’t be able to compete.
December 7, 2025 at 1:26 AM
Both the theatrical releases for the Knives Out sequels and K-Pop Demon Hunters shows that Netflix is absolutely prepared to turn down guaranteed box office money in order to prioritize keeping people on the couch.

The studios absolutely value theaters more than Netflix does.
