This Mortal Coil's haunting cover of Tim Buckley's "Song to the Siren" (1970). It was released in 1983, eight years after Buckley's death, and featured Elizabeth Fraser (Cocteau Twins) on vocals.
Fraser would later be connected to Tim's son, Jeff Buckley.

Marquee Moon is one of their best known and beloved songs.

The mixtape was not only a way to capture favourite songs.
It was a way to communicate and share music with friends and people we cared about.
It was an art form that took skill to get *right*. The right mix of thematic songs fading into each other seamlessly, all carefully curated by music lovers.

The English band Squeeze released the album Argybargy in 1980. It featured their iconic hit "Pulling Mussels (From the Shell)".
It remains one of their most popular and #mixtape worthy tracks.
