i have some secondhand references from mine or my brother's travels to europe i'm gonna be using. excited for that.
i also made it a point to try to set the majority of the comic in a setting i would *enjoy drawing*. so, you see a lot of woods/outdoors, castles, or rustic huts/towns.

i'd say fox and bobcat but i see them pretty regularly around here. been seeing a new fox in the area. s/he is very fluffy and red and pretty

most of the shows i go to are lesser known or up-and-coming bands... for instance i saw a show two weeks ago that was like $25 a ticket. and it was GREAT. but ill never be able to afford like, a radiohead or nine inch nails show.

not trying to make fun of anyone who hasnt seen live shows. its just like. i dunno, i thought part of being an artist was liking other arts. plus most everyone ive dated was a musician and im married to one and most of my IRL friends are musicians. so im always... there, mentally.

also seen dinosaur jr, kacey musgraves, cheap trick, the joy formidable, mogwai, charlotte martin, rasputina, mirah, mars volta, timbre, and endless local live bands at DIY skate parks and teen center and irish pubs and god knows what else.

i have seen a couple people saying "but ive never been to a concert" and that is so... bizarre to me lmao. ive been in the local/live music scene for 25 years. using music as inspo thet whole time. and i know people that have been to literally HUNDREDS of shows. (like seen NIN a dozen times)

i am almost comically clumsy and especially so about food. the other week i tried to hand someone a reeses, dropped it, tried to catch it, hit it back up in the air somehow multiple times, then it fell between the car seats anyway 🥲
