All the best, and I hope you get it working!

The only changes that I made to the example code were to define the camera model as ESP32S3_EYE and change the SSID and password to my own WiFi credentials.

Here are the settings that I used on Arduino IDE and a pinout for the board.

This is my board; it looks like the same one... I found it quite hard to find a datasheet etc. for, but they appear to be copies of the FREENOVE ESP32-S3-WROOM CAM BOARD for which there is a bit more info out there...

Apologies, I just double-checked, and that code doesn't work with the S3. I got confused with my other ESP32-CAM 🤦 sorry!

However, I just tested the original example sketch and it worked fine, so I'll share a bit of my setup in case it's of any help...

I've since used this slightly revised version of the Arduino example sketch that I found on GitHub... Seems slightly more stable than the original and provides a few extra features...

Perhaps not very helpful, but I bought a similar board from Ali express and it worked fine on wifi with the original Arduino example; my only issue was that the ov5640 camera gets extremely hot 🔥

Not sure how I missed this in the docs 🤦 that's brilliant; thanks again - I'll post a reply here if I get it up and running!

That's very helpful, thanks! I'll have another go once I find a bit of tinkering time... I was using a program called EEZ studio, as a WYSIWYG editor sounded great, but I think I need to have a go at coding it from scratch instead!

I've just had a flick through your feed... What a great project - I'll keep an eye out for your progress!

You've inspired me to have another look at LVGL; I had been struggling to implement hardware buttons for navigation (my display didn't have touch) and seemed to be going around in circles!

Looks great! I've always wanted a nixie clock, but they are so expensive; and high voltage scares me! I recently had a play with lvgl on esp32 - was this difficult to implement?

Oh, duh, just noticed it already say this on the disc 😂
