2/8 - All the feelings here: Heartbroken, dismayed, appalled, furious, but mostly, disappointed - and sadly, unsurprised - that the ACSA has “halted,” in their words, the JAE’s upcoming Palestine issue, themed edited by an incredible group of scholars and backed unanimously by the JAE board.

Spent parts of my career thinking ACSA/JAE wasn't for me, but for the past four years (thx to Nora Wendl / McLain Clutter / great editors + board), JAE has been one of the best journals going. ACSA hasn't "protected" anything—they've unmade it with their own hands.
