How does one go about bike messengering nowadays? I did some food delivery back in the day, but handling unstable contents like that proved more stress than it was worth. Is there a similar service, but for parcels?

Brake maintenance has been the bane of my existence for as long as I've been riding bikes. No matter how methodical I am, I never seem to be able to avoid just a tiny bit of squealing. Great job <3

It's a bit crazy to me this is still a topic people will debate you on. The existence of many staple game generas — horror, precision platformers, tactical shooters — is predicated on the idea that games can deliver value other than fun. I wouldn't think it an innovative idea.

Much as I try to avoid it, as a cyclist, pretension is a part of the lifestyle I sometimes I have to indulge in.

I have very little (no?) experience with essay collections. This felt to me like a wonderful introduction to the genera: Fun and amenable with a very real sweetness to it, and some keen reflections on what it means to be a part of something bigger than yourself.

An incisive little observation tucked away between a parentheses on the bottom quarter of the book. In a collection of essays full of interesting insights, this one stuck out to me.

If I could get this book into the hands of every single person in the world, I think we'd all be better off for it. I borrowed it from my local library, but I'm fully planning to get a copy of my own soon, as well as one for every person I believe I can coax into reading it.

Being a fan of MMA is so deeply embarrassing.

Thing is, if Trump had lied and they were shocked, I'd think they were foolish, but I'd still find it understandable — but instead, Trump did exactly what he said he'd do, over and over for years, directly to their face and... They didn't want that, I guess? Why did they vote for him???

No real workable conclusions here, just thinking about this because I went to the library earlier looking for references on political science / economics, and at least two of the books I checked out after tentatively paging through them turned out to be weird grindset "entrepreneur" garbage.
