Sain keskusteluttaa Euroopan Parlamentin tilaisuudessa panelia aiheesta Sosiaalinen Eurooppa: vastaus Euroopan kilpailukykyhaasteille? Paikalla olivat MEPit Li Andersson @SirpaPietikäinen sekä työmarkkinaosapuolista SAK:n Pia Björkbacka, PRO:n Maria Mäkynen ja EK:n Lotta Nymann-Lindegren.
Just returned from a Sino-Nordic seminar on digitalisation of public services, organized by Rune Halvorsen, Biao He and I @Nordic Centre @Fudan University. 2 days discussing research on the opportunities and challenges of digitalization in the public sector with Nordic, Chinese and UK colleagues.

Just returned from a Sino-Nordic seminar on digitalisation of public services, organized by Rune Halvorsen, Biao He and I @Nordic Centre @Fudan University. 2 days discussing research on the opportunities and challenges of digitalization in the public sector with Nordic, Chinese and UK colleagues.
Nordic Espanet young researcher seminar is getting to full speed. In digital age, Jon Kvist found paper and markers and we are getting great lessons how to study social policy.

Valtavan hieno Stigma vuosijuhla tänään. Oli ilo ja kunnia olla osana tätä yhteiskuntapolitiikan opiskelijoiden ainejärjestön juhlaa ja antaa lyhyt puhe tieteenalan edustajana Maria Ohisalon jälkeen. Tapasin ihania opiskelijoita ja alumneja, kollegojen lisäksi tietenkin.

Päivän agendalla: sosiaalipolitiikan maisteriohjelmien yhteinen työelämäpäivä Helsingissä. Upeaa yhteistyötä kaikkien yliopistojen kesken ja ohjelmassa aloitus @HelsinkiUni, vierailu @Kela, uutiset sosiaaliturvauudistuksesta @PasiMoisio ja vierailu @Eduskunta

On my way home from a great Finnish Social Policy conference @TampereUni. This years edition gave rise to new subsection of (Nordic) espanet, ESBOnet, with 2 two founding members, with the aim to extend horizons of social policy research in the great area of Suur-Tapiola, with Maria Heiskanen 😂
