Some #LandscapeJourney news. The first route in the Ash Way Collection: #Kincardine #Fife should have reopened to day but pylon/tower XD130 requires more maintenance than anticipated, it will be early Feb ‘26 now. Can’t wait you can still ‘armchair’ walk see 👉 www.mining-landscapes.org/routes

#MiningLandscape Journey news this morning, the short cut on the #Crossford to Tillitudlem Route, South #Lanarkshire see www.mining-landscapes.org/route/94 has been cut back and is now passable. A stunning beech hedged path that takes you off the road and reduces your return journey by 0.5K

Just round the corner from Miner St is this wonderful little ‘coal related’ gem the Grade II former Boatman’s Mission built 1900/01 located at #Birchills on the #Walsall branch of the Birmingham Canal to cater for the spiritual and physical wellbeing of the boatmen #canalheritage
