The headline is not just that Pete Hegseth issued a plainly unlawful order to intentionally slaughter survivors after an initial strike. It is also that senior military officers improperly carried out those orders.

In case you’re wondering why Pete Hegseth is freaking out about a congressional video reminding the military not to participate in illegal orders:
To put a finer point on this whole thing: "Two people with direct knowledge of the operation" — presumably uniformed military leaders — are accusing the U.S. Secretary of Defense of personally ordering specific war crimes. That's a historic accusation.
Textbook war crime/extrajudicial killing

"Two survivors were clinging to the smoldering wreck. The Special Operations commander overseeing the Sept. 2 attack ... ordered a second strike to comply with Hegseth’s instructions."

The DC shooting is a Reichstag Fire.

Trump granted the man asylum this spring. Trump agreed with the program that brought him here in 2021. There was full vetting. Trump’s DC op is why this happened.

Now it’s being used to end all immigration from nonwhite countries. And undo the Biden presidency.
The Afghan national accused of shooting two National Guard members near the White House this week underwent thorough vetting by counterterrorism authorities before entering the U.S., according to people with direct knowledge of the case.
Counterterrorism officials vetted Guard shooting suspect before he entered U.S.
Individuals with knowledge of the process that Rahmanullah Lakanwal went through contradicted senior Trump officials’ claim that he was not scrutinized.

To be clear—the shooting happened and was a tragedy. But the shooter was a CIA ally who suffered from mental health issues for things he did during the Trump administration and the Trump administration wanted him in the US. To use this event as a cause célèbre is a massive fraud.

Trump, Vance, and Miller have inherited wealth and power they did not earn, achieved through advancement of values they do not share, at a cost they cannot comprehend.

Like every other degenerate child of privilege they think their birthright is THE REWARD and not THE RESPONSIBILITY

Stephen Miller is now arguing that assimilation is fundamentally impossible and that certain cultures are not compatible with Western civilization

Also a great Black Friday subscription deal
Definitely worth it!
New in PN: Why MAGA is coming apart at the seams

"It’s far too early to know if Trump will share George W. Bush's fate. But unless he manages some remarkable turnaround in the public’s esteem, Republicans will continue to edge away from him, and his problems will only grow."

Trump has built the most racially and gender-exclusive administration in modern U.S. history: 84% male and 90% white. While saddening, it's NOT shocking. This is the result of an administration undermining racial equity and committed to rolling back DEI at every level.

A real president would not declare he will “permanently pause migration from all third world countries” after the heinous action of one person. He’d be capable of recognizing entire populations are not responsible for the actions of one troubled individual—and not act in a reactionary, racist way.

He appears to doze off during events.

His public appearances mostly occur during a short window: Between noon and 5pm.

He sits while others stand.

His covers bruises with makeup.

He had an MRI scan that he tried to hide from the public.
