This is where I am. Been advocating for the penny to go away forever. But if you do that you actually have to plan it and deal with the logistics. Not hard! Many countries have done it! But nah, we just do things because the king tweets it. bsky.app/profile/spsn...
Absolutely and I’m glad that we’re getting rid of this, but an administration that wasn’t a complete train wreck would have announced a date a few years in advance, done an education campaign, given point of sale and accounting software companies guidance, etc.

I'm not a churchy person nowadays, but that looks like pretty good ministry to me.
Also found out after the fact that my mom discreetly slipped them a hundo after I had done the same thing, lol. It was offered as a free meal with ZERO pressure to donate
