I thought so too. “Slow” travel (300km/h is not but you know what I mean) was great, most of it in a comfy Frecciarossa arm chair with loads of leg room etc. Shame we can’t do all the way from Venezia SL in one day but we do like an overnighter in Milan 👌

I still haven’t started, waiting for that right moment. Still decompressing to be honest! The TBR pile will be growing very tall based on last weekend although pleased didn’t risk my back’s weight-lifting-limit by procuring all those lovely signed books! Also need a bigger “Venice bookcase”!!!

Oh and don’t get me started on “Border Farce” …..
