A handy guide to Thanksgiving for us Brits.
Dear my non-American friends: I know Thanksgiving's a little confusing, so l'll try to break it down for you. Today is the day we celebrate the freeing of the United States from the reign of terror of Lord Gobble, a 50-foot tall turkey/Sasquatch hybrid who demanded human sacrifices every November. In 1863, Abraham Lincoln rode his eagle- gryphon into battle, singlehandedly slaying Lord Gobble and freeing us from our blood oath to our fearsome tyrant. In celebration of this momentous victory, we consume the corpses of his descendants and parade our largest and most influential cartoon characters through the streets of New York as a display of power so that history will not repeat itself. Hope that clears things up.

Recipe for stuffed camel. Stuffed Camel 1 whole camel, 2 kllos pine nuts medium size 2 kllos almonds whole lamb, 1 kilo pistachio large size nuts 20 whole chickens, 110 gallons water medium size 5 tbsps. black 60 eggs pepper 12 kllos rice Salt to taste Skin, trim, and clean the camel, lamb, and chickens, and boil until tender. (Be sure the pot is large enough.) Cook rice until fluffed. Fry nuts until brown, and mix with rice. Hard-boil the eggs and peel them. Stuff the chickens with eggs and rice. Stuff the lamb with five of the chickens and some rice. Stuff the camel with the lamb and more rice. Broil in large oven until brown. Spread the remaining mixed rice on a large tray and place the camel on top. Place the re- maining stuffed chickens around the camel. Decorate rice with boiled eggs and nuts.
