Each month, my office highlights a teacher from across our State House District, and Tonya stood out for the heart and dedication she pours into her students in the Hazel Park School District. Congratulations, Tonya! You make our community proud, and I’m grateful for everything you do.

My resolution focuses on expanding access to mental health resources for veterans, because supporting their well-being is just as important as honoring their service. This legislation is a step in that direction.

Together, we can make sure no one in our community goes hungry.

This bill would provide a small tax credit to help cover costs and keep more pets out of shelters. 🐕🐈

The people who put their lives on the line to protect us deserve the best tools and support we can give them — and I’m grateful to help make that happen.
