Awful day today. I had two volumes of Gerhard Kittel in my car and some one broken in and left two more.

I just want to highlight the juxtaposition here between a certain NT scholar's work and this article about Jordan Peterson.

I'm fed up with synthetic texts/images. I encountered this one today. Jessie Little Doe Baird is a superb linguist who has done incredible work. But this first picture on the left isn't her. It was created from a prompt like, "indigenous women teaching children." Here she is on the right.

Because I needed another hobby, I'm experimenting with green slate from the NY/VT border as a sharpening stone. To my surprise, I got a light cloudy finish on my vintage veggie knife.

n my chapter in Merkle & Black (2020), I cite her for the middle-only nature of high transitivity verbs in the perfect. Notably, here, Willi, who I also cite, has no bibliographic references to her work at all in his 750 page on the IE verb.

I love it!

I have this sunset from the bay from SBL 2014(?). That year, I probably took a couple hundred photos and always had my camera in my hand everywhere I went.
