I was trying to sleep, and then I heard something that sounded like my pill bottle. When I turned on the light I discovered that Stitch had stolen my nighttime medication, and carried it from the bedside table to the middle of the bed

Here's a ruler for scale
The same crochet piece as the post above, but with a transparent ruler sitting beside it to show scale. The leaf is about 1.5 cm tall by 1 cm wide

It kind of does look like a leaf if you ignore the colour! (This is a test, so I bought the only thread the local store had of the right size, which was white.)
The start of a crochet flower. There first rows created the foundation for the flower and just look like a spiral of white lace. At one end there’s a leaf-like shape attached to the foundation row, made up of mostly quadruple and triple crochet mixed with some Tunisian crochet techniques and a tiny picot at the very end of the leaf. The crochet is using DMC size 12 pearl cotton (equivalent to size 40 crochet thread) and a 0.6 mm hook.

Orange-cranberry muffins, just out of the oven
A dozen muffins with fresh cranberry bits throughout. Also orange zest, but that’s not really visible in the photo. They’re still in the muffin tin, in silicone muffin liners, cooling on the counter

My plan to knit has run into the logistical difficulty of the kitten sleeping on my hand

At my parents’, the lake is frozen and there’s lots of snow
View out the window looking down at the lake. The ground and dock are snow covered, and the lake is frozen solid. (Not very thick ice yet, but there’s no open water.) There’s an abandoned kayak upside down on the dock, entirely covered in snow

Assuming the metal marker is supposed to be the centre of the increase, it looks like the stitch circled in black is the first increase in the wrong spot. But double check the spot in blue, because it looks to me like there’s an increase missing there.
A copy of the photo in the original post with a grey raglan increase that’s off-centre. I’ve circled an increase in black that looks to be in the wrong spot, and also a spot right at the beginning of the increases where I think an increase might be missing

I'm on my fourth attempt at what should be a fairly simple cast on. Stitch has decided to help
A metal double pointed needle with a handful of stitches cast ok to it. There is a kitten lying in my lap, who has trapped the yarn between his paws and is intently staring at the needle. (He tried to bite the needle after I took the photo.) You can tell from the yarn that this isn’t my first attempt at the cast on
