I’m glad to see a Liberal MP taking a principled stand against the government’s decision to abandon environmental targets and fighting climate change and instead invest in fossil fuels and pipelines

"Enshittification" and "AI slop" are two terms that I just absolutely despise, despite the fact that I understand the value of naming what's going on and usually agree with the point being made. I just hate these particular words/phrases

Just a friendly reminder as we go into the holidays:

Folks don't have to explain to you why they don't drink.

If you offer them a drink and they decline, don't ask them why. It's not your business.

Just offer them something without alcohol to drink instead. And move on.

So we should know in just over an hour if we're having another federal election

After seeing how th US system works, I do appreciate much more now that our system makes the Members of Parliament suddenly unemployed if they fail to pass the budget

Today I learned that if your Apple Pencil has stopped talking to your iPad, and you talk to support, they want the serial number of the pencil. And if your iPad can't read it because they aren't talking, the only way to get it is in tiny, tiny text in the inside of the pencil tip
