Tutustuin tikkaan ja löysin hyviä keppejä. Pojat tietää kyl kui tärkeitä ne on.

Oli myllätty katajia tien pieliltä ja hakkuuaukiolt löyty viel vaikka mitä jännää. Esmes kävelykepiksi miltei suoraan kelpaava kepukka.

Ja yks pyssykeppi myös.
Komia koputus kaikui metässä. Zoomi ei ole paras oneplus 13R-mallissa. Ärrätön olis ollu pätevämpi mut ei ollu firmalle tarjolla moisia. Tässä osa saaliista. Noista varmana jotain sauvoja pitäisi syntyä. Koivua ja katajaa. Ja en tiä mikä tuo yks on mut... Koivuks sitäki epäilen. Surullisen näköistä tämmöine, mut pelastetaan mitä voidaan ettei ihan hukkaan mene puu. Ihanan terävä marttiinin hiking axe. Oli hyväksi avuksi kun perkasi ojan pohjalla murjottua katajikkoa.

Right. Also had this hiking staff project. Found a snapped juniper in a forest and it looked decent for the purpose.

Some hemp twine, linseed oil and leather strip (fake leather for now) and its starting to look ok. Quick thin epoxy layer on the top to preserve color.

Might add some runes later.

Really hating this rollercoaster called life. Had an awesome bit with a woman of my life, and now everything seems to have turned upside down. Would be happy if things just kept steady for a few yrs...

Well, at least i have my Jumbo Sherman to keep my mind busy for a moment...

Kinda shot myself in the leg with this fix... Resoldered light bulbs to abs and airbag warning lights... And as you can see, the airbag light decided to let me know there was an issue.

Luckily it was an older fault code that cleared, but... Sure gave me a bit of a fright. Not cheap to fix usually.
One of the views that come with the "what the fuck am i doing" feeling... "Yeah im just gonna quickly open this and see whats going on inside" not on a mechanical film camera level of "i night have made a mistake" but i've never been comfortable with electronics. Gears i understand, angry pixies running inside solid copper i dont. Smart person would prolly have soldered led's or lower wattage bulbs... Housing for these was semi melted already 😂 And theres the fun times light brightening my day and making my wallet lighter too.

Lähdin hakemaan limua, iski hetken laiskuus ja pysäköin paikallisen järven rannalle parkkiin. Onki nii mukava löhötä täs et taidan viettää yön tääl suosiolla ja vast aamul lähtee takas kotiin 😂 levitin sängyn vaan 2/3 auki ni mahtu pöytäki, ja yksin ollessa mahtuu nukkumaa hyvin vinossa täs.

Olisko kellään tietoa mikä ihmeen mitali kyseessä. Saatu lapsena isoisältä, enkä koskaan tajunnu kysyä mikä tää oli. Nyt ei enää kysyä voi.

Keräili näitä, ja omiakin oli poliisihommista ansaittuna. Tää tosin tuskin oli niitä kuitenkaan. Tekstinä keskellä "Tähti". Joku kilpa-/osallistumismitali?

I made me a poor mans ac for my transporter (instead of actually fixing the compressor).

I stuffed the cabin air intake box full of these ice brick things and to ny surprise it actually worked decently. Could drive for 60-90 minutes with windows up while outside temp was closer to 30 in sun.

Lets see. Took me 3,5 hours to finish my 45 minute drive.

Cost of hitting the pothole: 360€.

Even more as now i have mismatching tires so i need a second tire too to pass inspection. Needs a matching pair per axle afaik. Another 150-200€ there...

Need to start filling forms for compensation.
Damage to side wall of the tire. Old one was a de studded winter tire, needed to get a quick set of tures for summer and this is how we did it during the 90's recession. Now ended up spending that money anyway 🙄 gonna need to check whether to buy only one tire, matching the new one and having the rear tires as they are, or just pay up and have all new tires... Other side of tire, this is where it actually punctured... Shoutout to Pasi who was there to help me out. One helluva customer service professional. Hinausautokeskus oughta give this guy a raise. While i was waiting, i rigged my tiiiiiny fan to the gas struts and had it blowing cool air in the back of the van so i didnt have to sweat my ass off. Surprisingly powerful for a miniscule thing that it is.

Shit...

Hit a pothole, broke a tire, now waiting for roadside service or whatever it is called in english to get here with a new tire...

Silver lining, once again, is that the van is pretty much finished. I could even take a nap while waiting.

Lost the gunsight that came with the kit so i had to file down some clear sprue... Also added some stands for it made of .3mm brass rod. Happy accidents. The original sight was waaay bigger, almost comically so.

I know middlestone (vallejo) isn't the correct base color for the italian ww2 planes, but i just love it for how easy it is to sponge chip with like dark grey, and how well it works with black panel line accent.

What say fellow plane modellers, yay or nay? Too much of a wrong shade or passable?
Figuring out paints on mc.200 saetta engine and engine cowling.

Also, i'm fairly sure this is one of my better tries at radial engines. Turned out surprisingly "clean"

I should try and find my corsair to see how that turned out. I added quite a few extra bits on it too back then. This Saetta engine is just stock bits from box.

Note to self... Always check with zoomed in camera whether alignment is good before glueing parts...

Too late now, this was a progress photo of adding "glass" on gauges and... Well..

Prgoress from past weeks summarized: rear window finally installed, got tailgate latch installed, and hastily put tailgate upholstery together with self tapping screws due to lack or giving a fuck.

Oh, and that exhaust. Makes a huge difference on long drives. And you make less enemies during nights

Behold! Progress!

A cheap and simple bed system:
3 pieces of 18 x 600 x 1500mm pine boards, last two parts hinged and can be lifted on top of the first one (stained part) to form a bench.

Need to remove the individual legs and make one full width leg that doubles as backrest.

Also, safety bits.
Quick sletch of how the legs are supposed to go. Board #3 will have the wide leg and once folded as bench, it will serve as low backrest. Hopefully. Testing how much room the bed takes when fully opened. Might need to make the last board 15-20 cm shorter... But i am a tall person so i might have problems sleeping then... Its already 10cm shorter than i am... Folded and stored for transportation. Those two sibgle legs will be switched to a wide plank or something... Now there just for testing. Added a fire extinguisher to the front, and also installed a carbon monoxide alarm. Might add another extinguisher to the cargo area too. Safety first and so on. Engage safety squints and have mom on speed dial.
