I do appreciate what it's going for and being based in a 70's New Orleans always draws me back to trying it but ultimately the whole loop just drives me away. It's a pity because I do like the story and setting quite a bit

Honestly, it gets pretty fun in its own way. But I'd recommend just doing the main quest, it was known for being ambitious for its side content at the time but it doesn't mean it's great. Interesting to see how the series got its roots though!
