sounds like they fled the scene so they’re fine … and the police had pursued the same truck earlier last night for impaired driving. so, thank goodness he didn’t hurt anyone else.

nope … restoration time is 7am. last time this happened someone took out a pole on willow street, so i’m guessing it’s a pretty bad accident to take out the whole town.

i will accept this addition to the story. the girl who was next and literally on her way to the register and i just looked at each other and shrugged ... and the whole line kind of chuckled. at least no one was cranky!
