used to cook an orphan's thx giving for the bar i haunted in bed stuy...for 50-100 people

1 year i made 5 deep fried turkeys & 50lbs of mashed potatoes...there were gravies & sides enough to feed an army

i don't like eating in front of people & cooking is my way of giving thx

i found this reclaimed heavy construction timbers that i want to use...they're 3 inches thick & 7 inches wide & 9 ft long so this will be heavy duty

i plan on using pegs instead of metal fasteners
here's a sketch & the timbers

here's one of the tables i made for that cafe...it's still one of my favorite pieces of furniture i've ever made

i made this table & everything in that cafe with found objects

had a dream i was driving around in my first car last night...it was a Fiat 128 that i bought from an uncle for 400$...i taught myself how to drive stick shift with that car & it brought me so much freedom & joy

don't remember why but everyone called it the Wombat

i also found my Orlando Comic Con badge from the 80s...i was collecting 1940s-50s Plastic Man comic books & pre-internet, mail order auctions & conventions were the only way to get them
