If the structure is sound, most buildings can be improved significantly with very simple measures. For example, by insulating the top floor ceiling (cheap nobrainer), the rear facade from the outside, the street side with interior insulation, new windows, etc.

France is worth a look here, they categorize their building stock from A to G.
F cannot increase rents, renting out a G class building is forbidden etc.

Mein Vorschlag für Leute die "realistisch" sein wollen bezüglich der 1,5 Grad, schaut mal bei Firmen/ Menschen vorbei die hart für das Einhalten dieser Grenze arbeiten und schaut wie schlecht die auf dem Markt stehen gegen den billigen fossilen Mist.

Sollen wir aufhören für vollständige soziale Gerechtigkeit, (oder 1,5 Grad) zu kämpfen obwohl der Zug offensichtlich abgefahren ist?
Genau, das ist eine alberne Diskussion.
In dem wir es zum weichen Ziel machen, verlieren wird die Grundlage um Menschen und Organisationen zur Rechenschaft zu ziehen.
