the way netflix operates is like if spotify became a music label who didn’t allow their bands to tour, didn’t put out cds or records for the hobbyists, and didn’t allow their music to be streamed from other platforms

like, it is what it is for cinemas and physical media to become niche experiences/products for hobbyists, but it’s another thing to disallow the niche market to exist
some people are worried netflix might start gatekeeping WB stuff the way they gatekeep their own library (idk if they will, but)
