In January, Donald Trump looked me in the eye on the tarmac, promising Angelenos that he'd help rebuild after the firestorms.

11 months later, he still hasn't delivered.

That's why I'm headed to D.C. to push for a long-overdue federal aid package for survivors.

Hillary Clinton thinks social media is brainwashing people against Israel.

The truth?

Western media outlets covered up Israel's crimes - and the only way to get the unvarnished truth was to use social media.

Trump’s USDA is threatening to withhold food stamp funding for 20 Democrat-controlled states if they don’t share recipients’ sensitive personal data.

Yes: Trump is weaponizing hunger against millions of Americans, including children, to score cheap political points.

The cruelty is endless.

This story sums up Trump: No need for evidence. No need for laws or treaties. No need for discussions. If Trump decides (based upon whatever random information or maybe just heartburn) that someone is in the wrong, he believes he has the right to kill them.

The US is now a rogue nation.

Three out of five men in this shot have been accused of sexual misconduct, harassment or abusive behaviour towards women. A fourth signed into law a near-total abortion ban in his state as governor.

Any one of us could be in the next apartment building that ICE raids in the middle of the night.

Any one of us could be on the next boat that Trump bombs on a whim.

Any one of us could be detained for hours despite being a U.S. citizen.

Authoritarianism hurts all of us.

It's wild but not surprising that last week the White House was leaning into "these seditious Democrats dared suggest that troops were receiving illegal orders!!!" and this week they are scrambling to figure out who to blame for issuing illegal orders.

Trump is illegally attacking boats allegedly carrying drugs. He brags about being tough on drug dealers.

Meanwhile, he pardons the former Honduran president — a man convicted in American court of bringing hundreds of tons of cocaine to the U.S.

You can’t make this stuff up.

Trump says we need to go after drug cartels.

Meanwhile, he disbanded a DOJ task force that took them on.

And he pardoned a former Honduran president convicted of drug trafficking.

Trump doesn't care about drugs — he wants to be able to declare war on anyone he labels an enemy.

It's a power grab.

People do not typically get a cardiac MRI to check for clotting or blood vessels. It’s often used as a comprehensive view of the heart’s structure, blood flow, or tissue damage, or when tests are inconclusive.

For clots or blockages CT angiography, or ultrasounds are usually the first choice.

Presuming that this report is an accurate reflection of the findings, this sounds like a CT coronary angiogram. But CT angiograms are not done on people unless there is a reason to be concerned. Why? Because CT angiograms carry some risks, particularly of kidney injury. (1/2)
