i guess it illustrates that a thing is only bad if the 3 owners of our national press doesnt like it and vice versa. the justification; manifesto pledges, public opinion etc are the shallowest of justification.

but i think the key thing I learned from the Mamdani campaign, is how important it is to have a well adjusted political candidate. i think this, more than charisma, is what Zack and Zohran have in common. you can see how essential that is to defusing right wing propaganda.

Yes. I have my alarm set to 6music & in moments of waking I'm incensed by the coverage. I work in welfare rights & see asylum seekers regularly. The limited help I can give to people with no recourse to public funds is soul destroying. They have nothing. I really don't think many people realise this

they are trying to defacto destroy the right to asylum, a core human right. at least 23 asylum seekers have died by suicide from 2020-24 even before Labours new horror policies. imagine what this will do.
