To make Facebook more fun, I joined the community group for the island where I grew up.
Not only are the posts nostalgic and beautiful, but it's funny to me to recall we swam at a place actually named "Beech Beach" 😄

Oh interesting! Here peewee is the age group below bantam! We also have flag, and my middle kid did extreme flag in the spring! Football seems to be becoming more popular around here these days.

Also, dosage instructions are *only* on the carton, so good luck keeping the flimsy cardboard box in good shape for as long as you have the bottle.

I try to look closely at medication before purchasing to ensure the kid who needs it can take it.
But today I missed some small print on the Pepto-Bismol box.
Kids can ONLY take it for diarrhea, BUT they aren't allowed to take it if they have flu symptoms, and guess what's a flu symptom...

As someone who drives a lot in rural Alberta, the #1 thing the government could do to slash my commute time is a PSA for slower drivers to stay to the right, unless passing.
Most stay in the middle lane while the right lane sits mostly empty, and the left is full of slow passers.

One World Series game lost, and one democratic right to strike still in the process of being dismantled, with ~1,700 witnesses online at 1:30am.
I'm grateful for all who are advocating so articulately for the well-being of teachers, students, and workers across Alberta.
