A few shots I took from when I visited the Faroe Islands in September 2023. These were basically my first impressions from within 30 minutes after leaving the airport. 📍 Sørvágsvatn, Vágar #Føroyar🇫🇴

On the left hand side there's a rock spike called "Trollfinger". In the background a rocky sea cliff can be seen, illuminated by sunshine while clouds are looming above and behind.

View over Sørvágsvatn, the biggest lake of the Faroe Islands.

Another view over Sørvágsvatn including cool looking sea Cliffs. The camera angle gives the impression/illusion the lake is above the ocean. This is a famous photography spot, however it was very calm and only a few people there at the time when I visited.
