In Budokai Tenkaichi 3 characters who wear something that covers their eyes (roshi, great sayaman/woman, cyborg tao) dont get blinded by the solar flare
But, only for roshi, if you inflict heavy damage with a special attack and get him on his damaged state he'll loose his sunglasses and get blinded
