Hell yes. Trish Loughran's "Books in the Nation," in The Cambridge Companion to the History of the Book, ed. Leslie Howsam (Cambridge University Press, 2015) is a killer riposte to Anderson on this score.

What we do is go 100% paper ballots like Europe. And have international observers. Machines have been problematic since the hanging chad debacle in 2000.

Yet, apparently even questioning this makes us “like MAGA”. It’s not like we are storming the Bastille or anything, we are just pointing out the likelihood of an incredible probability.
