Like y'all this man has unhinged me so hard that I started writing fanfic for the first time in 25+ years in mid-August and I've churned out just shy of 40,000 words since, all for him and my MC.

I want to be clear, while I'm frustrated with the process and poor communication, I blame the people who threw her into this mess all alone and unprepared, not the one person struggling to do an impossible task she was assigned.

Initially, I wasn't sure if they wanted those in there or not, and I had concerns that the email wasn't secured...but on the other hand, I'm at the point where I don't really care who knows so I'll drop 'em in there.

At this point while I wait, I've prepped a formatted document with all the needs I can think of and suggestions on how to address them from my own experience running XIV events at a massive convention, which align with a lot of what Sara mentions in the secondary thread. Hoping it helps.

It's ridiculous that they dumped this on one person and at the bare minimum they should be at least helping her organize her schedule to actually have all these conversations they're requiring.

No idea when "then" is. I'm trying really hard to give grace here but the wishy-washy "scheduling" & lack of communication to manage the changes in expectations is a hell of uncertainty for my neurodivergence, and worse when considering how I have to budget my time & energy for my other conditions.

I didn't hear anything about a need to reschedule until I sent an email asking if something came up and offered a new set of 3 days/times and asked for her to let me know which date/time combination works best for her (if any). All I got was that yes, something did come up and she'd "try then".

After missing the first week of opportunities, she reached out, gave me two days, I picked the one I could make and suggested a time. She said she might not be right at that time but would try to get as close to it as possible. I waited over 2 hours past the time she agreed to.

I mean, I gave multiple days and times; I didn't expect a call within 48 hours. I don't *mind* if it takes weeks for my scheduled call to happen, but I have a problem with the inability for a time to be set and adhered to. I cannot handle being in waiting mode for weeks at a time.

This explains a lot about why it's been so difficult for me to even *get* my phone call.
