We haven't got the tree up yet as we are away at the moment but this is last year's (and pretty much how it will look this year).
We also decorate with extra skulls and bats around and I'm hoping to make a wreath this year (if I have time)

We saw a koala in the wild today and it was amazing. First time seeing one outside of a zoo situation.

Also the architect who designed (and lived in) the house we're staying in also designed the clocktower and built it so the top of the turret on this house is on the same level as the top of the clocktower.

We spent an hour there and it was so cool and the history was fascinating and John was so knowledgeable.
It didn't cost us anything so we will be dropping off a donation to them this morning.
Also pretty sure John was pretty pleased when the 20yo told him it was really cool.

We are currently in Camperdown, Victoria and there's an amazing 100yo+ clocktower. It wasn't open to the public while we are here but we were asking at the info centre about it and the woman rang one of the volunteers (John) who came in and did a private tour for us.
