So what is it?

#WildMagicAdvanced2E is a table of 52 one shot prompts for 52 different #TTRPGs - because if there's anything I've learned after 10+ years of TTRPGs, it's that the best way to get DnD groups to try new things is to put those new things directly into DnD.
A purple background with a pink swirling vortex, white text reads: "If at any point during a single Dungeons and Dragons session every player [including the DM] rolls a Natural 20 - reality tears itself open as the last 20 is rolled and all player characters are sucked into the swirling vortex of time and space. The player who rolled the final Nat20 then pulls a card at random from a standard 52 card deck and matches the card drawn to its corresponding prompt on the Wild Magic Advanced 2E table - the card drawn determines what Rift World the players are spat out into. Players will remain trapped in the Rift World until the conditions laid out in the prompt from the table are met - after which another rift will open and the characters will be sucked in once again and deposited back exactly where they entered the rift with no time having passed. If circumstances within the Rift World occur that would cause another rift to open, it does not happen. Rifts can only form when playing Dungeons and Dragons."

Fascists keep winning the primaries for both parties, and I think I gained a few pounds. The CDC just announced there’s no more speed limits on highways, and I think this Ativan is finally hitting. The NYPD farmer’s market only sells bad apples, have you heard that one? Listen, it’s warm today, too warm for March. But I don’t have time to think through the implications because there’s laundry to do and a genocide to stop."
