There are plenty of dog parks and other places where dogs are allowed to be off leash. Go there!!

I am also raising two teenagers to be decent humans and I have a reactive dog and I have a kitten who screams at me every day at 5:30 a.m. to feed him. he is cute, though, so I will keep him.

the only bit of advice I've been giving them is to just stick to maybe two news sources (do one national and one local, if possible), sign up for their newsletters and then just read them once a day so you can at least keep abreast of what's going on instead of trying to drink from the firehose.
